With the new baby on the way we needed to get a second car again. So last weekend we went down to Capitola and picked up an '05 Pontiac Vibe. It's a nice little runabout and Jen likes the color. I like the fact that it is a Toyota.

It's both! The Pontiac Vibe and the Toyota Matrix are the same car. They have different exterior styling cues, but are made on the same line in Fremont, CA. It's built on the Corrola platform, with an all Toyota drive-train. Engineered in Japan, made in the Bay Area, nameplate provided by Detroit.
