Free Guitar!

We went over to the Guitar Center yesterday so that I could get some new guitar strings. Guitar center is a nation-wide chain of music stores, try to imagine a Home Depot with instruments and wall size pictures of Bootsy Collins, instead of power tools. The sound system on the main sales floor is always playing loud enough to drown out the sounds of four people playing "Iron Man" on four different (flying-V) guitars. Anyhow, I asked the dude for a couple packs of strings and he said, "if you buy 10 packs you get a free acoustic guitar." I looked at him like he is an alien and said, "I get a free what?" Sure enough, 10 packs of strings got me a free acoustic guitar! I have strings for a year, and Riley has a full size guitar that he can bang on, if he so chooses. Pretty good deal if you ask me. I might see about trading it on Craigslist for a 1/2 or 3/4 size.
